Mitakon Zhongyi Lens Turbo (II) Contax Yashica CY-NEX

In common lens adapters, cropping effect occurs in all APS-C digital cameras with 1.5x magnification. This adapter reduces focal length to 0.72x , to adjust the image size to near 1:1 so that the focal length of the image is close to actual focal length of the lens, e.g. 50mm x 1.5 x 0.72 = 54mm.

For using Sony NEX (E) mount APS-C digital cameras with Contax/Y CY mount lenses. (not for full frame cameras)

Allows focus infinity. Switching camera to “Shooting without lens” mode is essential.

It helps to increase the maximum aperture to 1 stop, and you can use it faster by 1 stop.

Blue spot will occur if lens is shot to sunlight or lamp directly.

NOTICE:

This adapter doesn’t fit the lens whose rear element is 3mm longer than the mount during the Infinity focus, such as Contax 18mm, 28mm f/2, 35mm f/1.4. etc.

Please read user manual before install.

1. Put red marks of the adapter and lens collar together, then turn FD lens to yellow mark.
2. Turn the adapter anticlockwise till the fixative click.
3. mosty it will use Manual or Av mode.

Removing:

To remove the adapter you should unpress fixative pin and turn the adapter clockwise.
