Panasonic DC-GX9

The Panasonic Lumix DC-GX9 is a mirrorless Micro Four Thirds, which is characterized by the rangefinder camera inspired design and the slim shape. With a 20.3 megapixel digital live MOS sensor, along with a Venus Engine image processor, the GX9 UHD can record 4K videos at 30 or 24 fps, capture still images at full resolution with up to 9 fps with AF-S or 8 MP still images with 30 fps, and work in low-light situations with a top sensitivity of ISO 25600. In addition, there is a Dual IS2 system that offers both image stabilization systems in the camera and in the lens to effectively minimize the occurrence of camera shake.

The GX9 is equipped with a tilting 2,76 m dots electronic viewfinder and a tilting 3.0 inch 1.24 m dots LCD touchscreen on the back. A dual top wheel offers direct adjustment of both the exposure compensation and the shooting mode settings, and the top plate provides access to a hot shoe and a built-in pop-up flash. For remote use of the camera, integrated Bluetooth LE enables wireless shutter operation and certain shooting functions with a paired mobile device. The built-in WiFi can also be used for transferring images to a smartphone or tablet.

The 20.3 MP digital Live MOS Micro Four Thirds sensor, along with the Venus Engine image processor, provides fast overall performance, a wide dynamic range, with remarkable image quality suitable for working under a variety of conditions. Sensitivity varies from ISO 200 to 25600, with the possibility to expand to ISO 100 for working in bright conditions or with slower shutter speeds. Versatile burst recording modes up to 9 fps allow high continuous recording speeds to be combined with single-shot or continuous autofocus.

UHD 4K video

In addition to the versatile photo recording modes, the GX9 also supports recording UHD 4K video at a frame rate of 30p or 24p at 100 Mb / s in the MP4 format. Full HD 1080p60 is also supported, both in MP4 and AVCHD format.

Dual I.S.2

Dual I.S.2 helps to achieve the utmost sharpness when shooting from the hand. It combines the 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilization technology of the GX9 with image stabilization in the lens to compensate for various movements to get sharper, clearer images. Dual I.S.2 requires the use of compatible Lumix lenses with O.I.S. This stabilization system can compensate approximately four stops of camera movement.
